Chicopee, a pioneer in sustainable wiping solutions, will underscore its commitment to innovation and environmental leadership at this year’s Interclean Expo, which will be held May 14-17 at RAI Amsterdam.  With more than four decades of experience in developing wiping solutions across the healthcare, hygiene, food and industrial sectors, Chicopee continues to lead the way towards greener cleaning practices.

The latest addition to its product portfolio, rMicrofibre, represents a significant leap forward in sustainability and performance as the market’s first and only disposable wipe that is both 100% microfibre and 100% recycled. Engineered for short-term use to mitigate cross-contamination risks, Chicopee’s new product is designed from 100% recycled fibres, reducing the carbon footprint of the wipe and giving a new life to recycled materials. 

Certified to eliminate 99.97% of bacteria with water alone, rMicrofibre has been developed in alignment with the EU’s Green Deal’s 2030 objective, to reduce the reliance on chemicals, cutting costs, and promoting a healthier environment.
 
In addition to rMicrofibre, Chicopee’s booth will highlight J-Cloth® Compostable, the original and only certified industrially compostable wipe for food preparation and service in the market. Designed for short-term use and food contact certified, it offers optimal safety for food service while facilitating disposal. The wipe is produced with 100% natural biodegradable fibres from PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified origins, and the polybag is also compostable so you can dispose of them in the waste bin. 
 
Also featured in Chicopee’s sustainable line-up is Lavette Super, the market-leading reusable foodservice cloth renowned for its unique open and bulky structure, facilitating superior dirt pick-up and hygiene. With more than 40 years of proven excellence, Lavette Super continues to deliver exceptional performance and reliability as a reusable and washable multipurpose wipe.
